In a government of, by, and for the people,
occasionally
"THE PEOPLE" must hold their elected officals
ACCOUNTABLE.

IT'S
ELECTION TIME.
Payback time.
TIME for you to do your civic duty again.

First, try calling the Senate Labor Committee at:

http://help.senate.gov/

(Members are listed on the right of this web page.)

AND CONTACT your Senator
at
www.senate.gov

ASK them all:

  • Why no increases in the federal minimum wage?
  • What they ignored creating jobs in America?
  • Why they exported America's industries offshore?
  • Why they bailed out millionaire bankers but not average Americans losing their homes?
  • IF they really think we are going to reelect them?

Tell them you found their contact info at www.democratsdontdeliver.com

Go ahead. Call their offices.
Get the names of staff you speak to
so you can quote them in your letter to
your local paper.

Tell them you expect an ANSWER
from your Senator or Congressperson
(not some excuse from staff)
so you can put their answer in your local paper,
and theirs.

And also ask:
  • Why they have some wise-guy kids making excuses for them instead of answering your questions and those of other honest, hard-working Americans.
  • If they are doing their jobs then why is there no action to help the American people during these trying times?
  • Tell them you want performance-based pay for Congress, especially in light of our failed wars, failed economy, failed banking system, failing federal agencies and failed Congress in which fewer than 20% of the American people have no confidence.
  • Ask them why our government agencies and employees at the EPA, the MMS, FDA, our defense/Pentagon establishment, the SEC and various others can no longer deliver for the American people despite trillions or our tax dollars being spent years and each and every year for the last 30 years or so..
  • Ask them why the billions appropriated to help millions of people whose homes are being foreclosed on remain unspent.
  • Ask them why we are still waiting for decent "health care".
  • Ask them if they plan to pass a law reimbursing you for income lost to people illegally here in the USA.
  • Ask them why there is no federal jobs program - 2 years after they promised change and hope.
  • Ask them why they always need 60 votes.
  • Ask them why no one answers when you call your State Labor Department.
  • Ask them why there are so many potholes in America and no one filling them.
  • Ask them why Jeep and Kia have ads showing so many robots working in jobs once occupied by humans.
  • Ask them how much they make, what their benefits are and who pays them.
  • And then - write a letter to the Editor of your local paper delineating your questions and to whom and any answer you do not get from them.

Then, tell them you look forward to VOTING in November!
